Oakmont of Pacific Beach, a luxury assisted living and memory care community with high-end amenities, has announced the opening of model apart- ment homes for viewing.
Oakmont hosted an open house of its model apartment homes on Sat- urday and more than 250 guests attended, including future residents, their fam- ilies, neighbors and local community members. The event included live music, champagne, catering by El Pueblo restaurant, and an ahi tuna poke bar prepared by Ulysses Jorge Fernan- dez, executive chef for Oak- mont of Pacific Beach, and Oakmont’s regional execu- tive chef, Rina Younan.
“It was so great to see all our future residents come together to join us for this exclusive premiere of our model apartments,” said Laurie Tomasello, executive director of Oakmont of Pacific Beach.
“Construction is pro- gressing well and is still on target for us to open our doors this summer for our first residents to call Oak- mont of Pacific Beach home.”
The luxury senior living
community, three blocks from the beach and four blocks from the bay, will offer 38 assisted living and 37 memory care apartment homes. Floor plans include studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom options rang- ing from 400 to 966 square feet, all with large bath- rooms and high-end fin- ishes. Amenities for the pet-friendly community include a library, activity room, fitness studio, pre-
mier movie theater, care services, concierge medi- cine program, and a nurse on-site seven days a week.
Four completed and fully furnished models are open to view with an appoint- ment, or stop at the infor- mation center at 4312 Cass St., open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oakmont is to open in summer 2017 at 955 Grand Ave. and is accept- ing reservations.
